Raising a child is exciting, emotional, and can be exhausting. Lantern is a free text-based messaging program that shares trusted information from pregnancy through the preteen years — supporting, informing, and encouraging families every step of the way.

Substance Use Support

The CARES Warm Line offers compassionate support for those in recovery or seeking recovery. Whether you're taking the first step or continuing your journey, trained staff are available to listen and connect you with resources.

Georgia's Peer Support and Respite Centers are peer-run alternatives to traditional mental health programs and psychiatric hospitalization. Each center offers respite rooms available 24 hours a day, year-round, at no cost.

If you're feeling overwhelmed and would benefit from 24/7 peer support, you can stay for up to seven nights every 30 days. The three or four respite rooms at each center are free of charge and available to all Georgia residents.
