Amy Ard has spent 21 years directing nonprofits and small business. She founded and owned DC Birth Doulas, the largest doula agency in Washington D.C., before moving to her home state of Georgia to advocate and work directly with incarcerated pregnant women.
Brenda Baker, Research & Program Director
Dr. Baker has extensive clinical experience in the maternal and newborn population as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her research efforts have focused on maternal role transition, social support in the postpartum period, and perinatal outcomes of incarcerated pregnant women.
